Wild Child . . . .

Have you ever dreamed of a new life?

“. . . I wanted
the past to go away, I wanted
to leave it, like another country; I wanted
my life to close, and open
like a hinge, like a wing, like the part of the song
where it falls
down over the rocks: an explosion, a discovery;
I wanted
to hurry into the work of my life; I wanted to know,
whoever I was, I was

alive
for a little while . . ."

One of my favorite things about modeling, is getting to play a character.  I love to take on and explore another identity for the day.  It’s fun to challenge yourself to “become” a part of your personality that you may not always get to share. This was that kind of a shoot that I did with the super talented, photographer, known as Doubleyeu. It was fun to tap into my inner wild child for the night.

  1. Amen to some reinvention & evolution, and the overlap between work & play, reality & fantasy. Now I'm off to invest in some oxblood lipstick and a leather vest. XO, Kathleen

    1. Oxblood, love that color. I'd love to see your twist on the leather and lipstick. ;)

  2. Girl this is awesome , so fun to become "someone else" or to a point induldging the inner desire of another personality, an emotion that would otherwise not see the light of day or night for that matter - captured perfectly, I now want to purchase a body suit & hopefully overnight my legs will grow about 4 more inches haha x blessed be x

    1. Girlfriend, you're one long lean babe. I have a feeling that your legs are longer than mine. I'm 5' 10" -- you've got a few inches on me. I love what you've been blogging.

  4. That is one of my favorite things about modeling as well and about shooting! I get to take people and completely transform them! I love to see the progressive change through out the shoot. In the beginning they are themselves and at the end they are completely new and comfortable in their character's skin!

    1. Well, we love photographers like you! You let us embrace parts of ourselves often that are often overlooked. One day, I hope that we get to shoot together. Shine on sunshine.
